Summary:

The Supervisor - Imaging Services role oversees daily operations within the assigned modality, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care and compliance with regulatory standards. This role provides direct supervision to technologists, coordinates workflow, serves as a technical resource for staff, and performs direct patient care. The Supervisor collaborates with the Manager to maintain efficient operations, support staff development, and ensure adherence to hospital policies and evidence-based practices.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: See License/Certifications
  2. License/Certifications: Active state licensure in medical/diagnostic imaging. ARRT Certification required. BCLS required. ACLS, PALS, & NALS preferred.
  3. Experience: Three years' experience in designated modality; leadership experience preferred.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Working knowledge of applicable regulatory and accreditation standards; Experience with EMR systems and basic computer skills.
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: N/A
