Lead Inventory Control Coordinator

Lead Inventory Control Associate performs manual and clerical duties related to inventory, shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and delivering a variety of materials, equipment and supplies within the warehouse. . A Inventory Associate must always ensure they are maintaining inventory control and records during all product move processes.



What you'll do:

  • Picking orders from warehouse inventory using item location identifiers
  • Unloading, moving and storing materials. Loading trucks for delivery.
  • Utilizing manual lifts, reach trucks and transfer equipment (requires applicable safety and operational training)
  • Storing and stacking materials according to company standards
  • Identifying and verifying parts
  • Reporting inventory shortages and recommending new orders
  • Removing damaged materials from stock and document inventory adjustment accordingly
  • Operating RF scanners and other hand-held devices
  • Inventory accoutability for the entire wire room
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned.



What you'll bring:

  • 6 months of related experience working in a warehouse and/or distribution environment preferred
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Knowledge of branch product lines.
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving practices.
  • Knowledge of Company policies and procedures.
  • Skill in organizing and prioritizing personnel and work activities.
  • Knowledge of merchandise handling and production methods.
  • Some knowledge of basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
  • Ability to effectively communicate.
  • Must be a team player and abide by QED's strong core values and beliefs



Location: Mesa, AZ

Scheudle: 6:00am-3:00pm (Monday-Friday)
