As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.85 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to all personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter zones while observing for hazards, unauthorized activity, and/or operational issues that may require notification.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information as directed by site policies, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Prepare clear and timely activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications, and support emergency procedures, evacuations, and/or accountability efforts when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
