This position provides the necessary leadership, direction, and management control for planning design and construction projects at assigned multiple hospital campus or clinic locations. The senior project manager is responsible for the successful completion of all assigned projects.
Position Details:
Minimum Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field Experience: Ten years of progressive experience managing planning, design and construction projeects within the commercial / education/ healthcare industries. Other Skills and Knowledge: Strong knowledge of healthcare industry. Effective team leadership skills. Ability to make decisions in best interest of project outcome and balance against hospital and community resources. Strong customer services orientation. Comfortable with presentations to large groups. Ability to be flexible and creative in developing solutions that deliver results. Must have superior written and verbal communication skills. Advanced analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to make programmatic changes and decisions derived from data and or regulatory research. Must be able to type and proficient with use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to travel up to 50%. Preferred Qualifications Education: Advanced degree in construction related field Experience: Seven (7) years progressive construction project management in healthcare industry with full range of projects from renovations to new replacements. Certification/Registration: Prefer one of the following Certified Healthcare Facility Management CHFM, Certified Healthcare Constructor CHC, American Society of Healthcare Engineers AHSE, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional LEED AP, American Institute of Architects AIA, Professional Project Manager PMP or ability to obtain as appropriate.
