As a Security Officer Patrol Response in Talladega, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage incidents, and support access awareness and customer interactions. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a government corrections setting.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and report details through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, observe inmate movement areas as assigned, and document unusual conditions, hazards, and/or security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Support Allied Universal and location personnel by following post orders, maintaining a visible presence, and communicating professionally with staff, visitors, and/or responding agencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
