We are seeking a Process Improvement Engineerto join the Transformation Management Office (TMO). The TMO leads enterprise-wide transformation initiatives that improve operational performance, enhance the patient and employee experience, and support MSK's mission through process improvement, change management, and organizational transformation.

Role Overview

In this role, you will:

  • Support enterprise-wide process improvement and transformation initiatives.

  • Partner with clinical, operational, and administrative stakeholders to assess workflows and identify improvement opportunities.

  • Collaborate with Process Engineers, Project Managers, Change Specialists, and Data Analysts to implement sustainable solutions.

  • Facilitate current-state assessments, future-state design sessions, and structured problem-solving efforts.

  • Analyze operational data, identify root causes, and develop actionable recommendations.

  • Create process maps, implementation plans, and performance metrics to support enterprise initiatives.

  • Coordinate project workstreams, monitor progress, and communicate results to stakeholders and leadership.

  • Support change management activities to drive adoption of new processes and ways of working.

  • Design new tools, frameworks, or approaches for initiatives that don't have an established process or precedent to draw from.

Key Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in process improvement, operational excellence, transformation, business operations, consulting, or a related field.

  • Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives in a highly matrixed environment.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to identify opportunities and drive decisions.

  • Experience with process mapping, workflow analysis, root cause analysis, and performance measurement.

  • Ability to structure and define problems in ambiguous, undefined situations, in addition to solving complex problems that already have a clear objective

  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python, or AI-enabled tools is a plus.

  • Lean, Six Sigma, or related certification preferred.

Pay Range: $124,000.00 - $204,700.00 FSLA Status: Exempt
