Join the the team as a Banking Program Manager to drive operational excellence within our Checking product. Reporting to the Partnerships Manager, you will serve as a critical link between our bank partners, ensuring our programs meet rigorous regulatory standards and business goals. This role acts as a hub for cross-functional collaboration, uniting Product, Engineering, Risk, Compliance, and Customer Care teams to deliver high-impact initiatives and elevate the overall customer experience. In this role, you will lead strategic initiatives focused on strengthening compliance frameworks and optimizing Know Your Business (KYB) and Customer Identification Program (CIP) workflows. You will be responsible for overseeing data integrity and system synchronization between the partner platforms to ensure seamless technical performance. Additionally, you will champion customer-centric improvements, such as refining support routing strategies, optimizing account management policies, and managing incident response protocols to ensure partner accountability and service stability. We are seeking a Program Manager III who excels in stakeholder management and thrives in complex fintech environments. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in vendor relationship management, regulatory adherence, and operational execution. You will be responsible for driving process improvements that enhance user satisfaction while maintaining strict alignment with banking regulations. Success in this role means delivering seamless operational performance, ensuring constant audit readiness, and fostering a trusted environment for our customers. .Job Description (Detailed) This Program Manager III will lead initiatives at the intersection of fintech operations, compliance, and partner management, with a strong emphasis on process design and automation. Process Automation & Workflow Design (Primary Focus) *Build end-to-end workflows from scratch, primarily using Airtable and Google Sheets *Translate fragmented, manual processes into standardized, automated systems *Design solutions that: oTrack deliverables (e.g., recurring reporting across teams) oAutomate reminders and escalations oProvide real-time visibility into status and accountability *Continuously maintain and iterate on workflows to ensure scalability and reliability Operational Program Management *Own and drive core operational processes supporting fintech and banking partnerships *Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and failure points, and implement improvements *Establish structured operating rhythms, reporting cadences, and performance tracking *Monitor operational metrics and use insights to improve performance and reduce friction Partner Management & External Engagement *Act as a primary liaison between them and the external banking/fintech partners *Gather partner requirements and translate them into actionable internal workflows *Manage partner expectations, deliverables, and communication *Support SLA tracking and performance accountability *Represent in external-facing discussions, presentations, and updates Compliance & Risk Alignment *Support workflows tied to KYC, KYB, and CIP requirements *Ensure operational processes align with banking regulations and audit readiness standards *Partner with Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams to maintain adherence to requirements *Assist in incident response workflows, including tracking, escalation, and communication Cross-Functional Leadership *Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Risk, Legal, and Customer Care teams *Influence stakeholders without direct authority to align on priorities and execution *Translate complex technical or regulatory requirements into clear operational plans Data & Reporting *Develop and manage tracking systems and dashboards *Analyze operational trends (e.g., delays, errors, process bottlenecks) *Use data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Top Requirements (Must-Haves) Airtable Expertise (Non-Negotiable): Hands-on experience building Airtable systems from scratch, including tables, automations, and integrations (not just maintaining existing setups). *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $45.74 - $45.74/hr.
