As a Security Officer Entry Desk in Piedmont, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location where you will monitor access points, verify credentials, and help support a smooth flow of people and vehicles. This Access Control role combines customer service, clear communication, and attention to detail to help reduce security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or shipping documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, loading zones, and other key parts of the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including perimeter areas, gates, parking areas, and dock spaces, noting unusual activity and reporting security-related concerns.
• Assist with visitor, vendor, and delivery processing by maintaining required logs, providing directions, and following post orders related to access, traffic flow, and property control.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
