Job Description

SUMMARY

Directs and coordinates team members in conducting flexible packaging manufacturing operations which will result in efficiently producing a finished product on a timely basis that meets all the customer's product specifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyzes production schedule to plan work of team members and assigns work load to make sure the finished product is produced in a consistent and timely manner.

Reviews Production Order Forms specifications to insure the correct equipment, properly trained personnel, packaging supplies and raw materials are available to produce a product that meets the customer's specifications.

Directs team members in equipment production setups. During production monitors production equipment, raw materials and directs personnel in performing operations according to sound production methods to make sure a product is being produced and packaged that meets a customer's quality specifications and takes immediate corrective action to eliminate any causes of sub-standard product.

Insures that Amcor safety policies are understood and adhered to by all team members.

Train team members in correct operating procedures, safety and quality policy procedures.

Performs and assists in other tasks, as directed by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience: 1-5 years in a similar role or industry preferred.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent is minimum; Bachelor's degree in Business or related field is often preferred.
Leadership Skills: Ability to train, coach, and mentor staff, as well as delegate tasks effectively.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for team coordination and report writing.
