GENERAL FUNCTION

At Target Optical, we're on a mission to be the ally that Wow!'s all families shopping at Target, by offering an easy and inspirational optical experience, no matter when, where or how they shop. The Market Manager delivers on this mission by leading and coaching the employees in the region to on to achieve business results & KPIs while delivering an exceptional guest experience. The Market Manager also has key responsibility for building strong doctor relationships resulting in strong patient experiences. The Market Manager is responsible for growing mid to large scale markets in key or strategic areas and with a high level of complexity.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Evaluates regional business results to create and execute plans to deliver sales and business KPIs
  • Ensures the delivery of WOW! experience to our guests leading to repurchase and retention
  • Ensures each store has a professional business partnership with the Target Optical doctor and Target host through regular co-planning.
  • Proactively recruits, hires, trains, develops, engages and retains employees
  • Provides team members coaching & feedback to hold accountable for their goals and job responsibilities.
  • Ensures all operating policies and procedures are followed at the highest level to include merchandising and store presentation, timely and accurate implementation of approved marketing programs and promotions, the accurate completion of all sales transactions, and utilization of all sales strategies and resources.
  • Establishes recruiting network for doctors within the industry to enable them to recruit and select brand right doctors for all locations.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • 3+ years retail management experience with a proven track record of sales growth
  • Graduate of Luxottica's Field Leader Development Program (FLDP)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Previous experience in specialty retail
  • New store growth experience

Pay Range:63,946.05-99,144.15

This posting is for an existing vacancy within our business.Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
