Production Generalist

This role supports production operations by performing a variety of general tasks within a pet manufacturing environment, including material handling, dispensing, machine operation, light assembly, and maintaining a clean workspace. The position plays a key role in ensuring production efficiency, product quality, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards while contributing to a team-oriented and fast-paced work environment.

• Support Production Output: Load containers onto production lines at a pace that meets machine output and production targets.
• Ensure Product Quality: Inspect products for defects such as misaligned or wrinkled labels, missing barcodes or lot/batch codes, and damaged containers; remove non-conforming items for proper evaluation.
• Maintain Production Flow: Remove finished products from lines and place them into appropriate shipping containers to ensure continuous workflow.
• Perform Assembly & Packaging Tasks: Complete tasks such as sprayer insertion, sealing containers, and labeling products in accordance with work order specifications.
• Operate & Support Equipment: Operate or assist with production equipment including tube filling, pouch filling, and labeling machines; notify operators of any malfunctions or irregularities.
• Material Handling: Stack finished goods on pallets, restock production lines, and ensure materials are readily available to maintain efficiency.
• Maintain Clean & Organized Work Areas: Clean materials, supplies, and workspaces to support a safe and efficient production environment.
• Flexible Team Support: Rotate through various tasks across production areas as needed and assist machine operators to support overall operations.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to adhere to all safety standards and wear required PPE.

• Ability to perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Flexibility to work across multiple shifts based on business needs.
• Must wear all required PPE, including but not limited to hearing protection, safety glasses, respirators, and steel-toed shoes.
• Working conditions are typical of a manufacturing environment, including exposure to production equipment, moderate noise levels, and varying temperatures.
