- Proven leader with the ability to own and manage full kitchen operations independently
- Strong background in menu development, food quality, and presentation standards
- Skilled in managing food costs, inventory, and vendor relationships
- Deep understanding of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen compliance standards
- Highly organized with strong time management and multitasking abilities
- Effective communicator who thrives in a collaborative, team-first environment
- Comfortable supporting company events and adapting to varying service needs
- Passionate about continuous improvement, efficiency, and delivering exceptional service
Job Requirements: Is This You?
- 3+ years of professional culinary experience, including leadership or ownership of kitchen operations
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen management practices
- Experience developing menus that align with dietary needs, budgets, and preferences
- Proven ability to manage purchasing, inventory, and vendor partnerships
- Hands-on experience with commercial kitchen equipment, including open-flame stoves and industrial ovens
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations; ServSafe certification required (or ability to obtain within two weeks of hire)
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in daily operations
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, etc.)
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods (majority of the workday)
- Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds
