Our Security Officers monitor and patrol a dynamic tech location, staying visible to help deter security-related concerns while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. In this unarmed patrol role, you will complete routine rounds, support access awareness, and respond to site needs with professionalism. Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, entry points, and the exterior perimeter to help identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor visitor, employee, and/or vendor activity in accordance with location policies, and report maintenance, policy, or security-related issues through the appropriate channels.
• Support a professional environment within a technology-focused location by observing site rules, documenting daily activity, and helping to address questions or concerns from staff and guests.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
