As a Security Officer Site Access in Fountain Inn, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and support access activity with professionalism. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed, and assist with maintaining orderly movement of personnel, vehicles, and deliveries.
• Communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or local responders as needed regarding incidents, operational concerns, and security-related matters while supporting daily location operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
