Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Lead - Global Technology Services
Location: Hybrid (Irvine, CA) Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Lead to develop and execute category strategies for complex technology goods and services. This role focuses on Third-Party Expense Management and Category Strategy supporting Global Technology Services (GTS) and IT Management Services. In this role, you will partner closely with internal stakeholders to drive cost optimization, supplier performance, and contract excellence across a broad technology portfolio. You will lead strategic sourcing initiatives, negotiate complex agreements, and ensure alignment with company policies, compliance standards, and best-in-class sourcing practices. Job Description In this role, you will lead the development and execution of strategic sourcing strategies for complex technology goods and services, supporting Global Technology Services (GTS) and IT Management Services. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into clear sourcing strategies across key categories, including FinOps, End User Support, Global Technology Operations (Compute, Storage, IaaS), Cloud Engineering, and Enterprise Technology (ETOC) such as Network Technologies, Digital Workplace Solutions, Endpoint Resilience, Endpoint Technology, Telecom, and Collaboration Technology. You will conduct market research and supplier assessments, define cost-reduction targets, establish supplier selection criteria, and develop risk mitigation plans. This role leads all RFx activities, including RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs, analyzing supplier responses and evaluating proposals based on price, quality, delivery, and overall value. You will develop negotiation strategies and lead complex contract negotiations, balancing commercial value, risk, and compliance. Responsibilities include establishing and managing master agreements, ensuring alignment with legal terms and company policies, and driving optimal outcomes. Additionally, you will manage vendor relationships, monitor supplier performance against contractual commitments and KPIs, and drive continuous improvement. You will analyze spend data, perform cost modeling and total cost of ownership (TCO) analyses, and implement sourcing initiatives that generate measurable savings. Clear communication with senior leadership is essential, as you will regularly provide updates on sourcing strategies, progress, risks, and outcomes while proactively managing stakeholder expectations.
