Target hiring range for this position will be between $56,800 - $69,010 per year Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data Job Summary: The Program Coordinator Senior - Faculty Affairs collaborates with the Faculty Affairs team as well as other School leadership and Provost's Office to ensure the smooth implementation and delivery of faculty processes related to recruitment, onboarding, orientation, development, and other faculty employment lifecycle transactions/events. This position coordinates efforts within McCormick Central Administration to ensure seamless integration of consistent processes across stakeholders including process improvements.

Please note: On occasion work hours may be beyond normal business hours based on academic year calendar or Dean's agenda. Specific Responsibilities: Faculty Support
- Provides logistical/operational support for management of faculty appointments, credentialing and exit (retirement & termination) processes.
- Drafts paperwork in support of faculty lifecycle activities related to recruitment, onboarding, orientation, retirement, leaves, named professorships, etc.
- Supports the promotion and tenure review process by assisting with the collection of casebook materials, correspondence with stakeholders, adherence to timelines/due dates and related training/information sessions, etc.
- Assists the Director and Senior Associate Dean with the development, review, improvement and implementation of faculty policies, procedures, relevant manuals and tracking systems at the School level through targeted research that will better enable it to achieve its goals and objectives.
- Create ad hoc faculty reports and analyze data. Provide information to appropriate administration units, departments and committees.
- Serves as primary liaison for all units with faculty systems questions.
- Maintains excellent working relationship with Provost's Office.
Communication, Outreach & Recruitment Website:
- Oversees creation, design and maintenance of Faculty Affairs website ensuring ease and practicality of use for targeted audiences and objectives.
- Organizes information in ways that promotes & encourages use of site.
- Create profiles for new faculty members.
- Update faculty profile titles on a weekly basis.
- Creates, writes, edits, posts monitors content of Faculty Affairs information on the McCormick website.
- Identifies opportunities and strategies for short- and long-term growth and expansion.
Events
- Organizes and schedules McC quarterly faculty meetings, annual faculty elections, faculty mentoring sessions, annual promotion and tenure meetings, assists faculty at graduation and training on various faculty related systems.
- Collaborates with Associate Deans, McC Office of Event Planning and McC IT to deliver these events for faculty.
- Ensures that all logistics such as advertising, registration, speakers, venues, catering, technology, etc. are arranged and completed in an appropriate and timely manner.
Grants/Faculty Awards
- Partners with NU development office, Office of Finance, McC IT and Associate Deans to manage Murphy Society grants for both faculty and students.
- Coordinates communication, award letters, tracks financial commitments and final grant reports to faculty and staff.
- Identifying prestigious internal/external honors and awards for McC faculty to pursue, matching appropriate faculty with those awards, and cultivating faculty recognition across McCormick
- Recommends and implements administrative & procedural changes.
Recordkeeping & Regulatory Compliance
- Responsible for efficient and systematic management of faculty records from creation to documentation of faculty life cycle transactions and auditing.
- Oversee the development and implementation of retention processes and procedures for records improvement.
- Monitors compliance with relevant University records retention policies and procedures.
- Monitors the appropriate release of data.
- Manages compliance with all applicable federal, state, local and NU laws, regulations, policies & procedures.
Strategic Planning
- Implement strategic plans.
- Reviews plans, meets with leadership & key faculty & staff.
- Provides advice and counsel, recommends changes and improvements to functional operations to better meet organizational needs and objectives.
Evaluation
- Manages development and maintenance of evaluation processes including associated metrics and key performance indicators.
- Reviews & analyzes outcome measurements and recommends changes & enhancements to improve faculty affairs functions.
- Collaborates with internal/external partners to implement changes designed to improve/increase faculty affairs goals/objectives.
Miscellaneous Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications:
Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree; OR appropriate combination of education and experience. 2 years program administration or other relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in faculty affairs. 3 years administrative work experience preferably in an academic or non-profit setting. History of project management.

Strong working knowledge of data management, tracking and/or visualization systems such as Smartsheet, Excel, SharePoint, Power BI, Cascade, myHR, AI and survey software. Project Management/System-oriented mindset. Comfortable analyzing data and aligning processes, data and systems. Strong working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications.
