Introduction to the Job

As a Senior Headquarters Account Manager for the Cymer Lightsource business line, you support customer account teams across the US and Europe to improve sales execution, service outcomes, and long-term partnerships.

In this role, you connect strategy with execution. You turn data into insights that guide decisions on upgrades, new systems, and customer priorities. Your work directly supports company's mission to push technology forward while building trusted, long-term customer relationships.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Senior Headquarters Account Manager, you work closely with account teams, service, internal stake holders and global partners. You help translate customer needs into clear business priorities and coordinated actions.

You will:

  • Provide leadership for account management in general business activities and drive closure on customer related issues

  • Meet account and business goals in revenue growth, profitability, upgrades sales, and adoption of new products

  • Act as the main point of contact representing the Account Team, being the best possible interface between the customers teams and San Diego HQ organizations.

  • Lead cross-functional business activities that support various commercial and customer related issues.

  • Summarize/simplify complex situations and communicate status and proposed solutions clearly to Cymer management. Adapt to the situation and be able to handle larger audiences. Actively listen to your team members needs and ideas.

  • Drive and own cross-sector improvement projects and drive to closure.

  • Partner with account teams to resolve customer issues and close open actions.

  • Coordinate customer interface plans and gather structured feedback for improvement.

  • Develop data-backed business cases and customer proposals in the deal process that align with company goals. Own and validate deal assumptions and work with finance to create deal financials.

  • Align customer goals with product roadmaps and operational performance.

  • Track forecasts, identify gaps, and support prioritization of key account activities.

  • Develop and implement a customer intimacy alignment process and scorecard with initiatives to improve metrics throughout the year

  • Capture 18 months rolling new system and upgrades demands in align to demand & supply

  • Support development customer sales deals and working with contracts to create final contract

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related discipline, or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in customer-facing roles such as sales, account management, service, or product management.

  • Experience in the semiconductor capital equipment or service industry is strongly preferred.

  • Proven experience working in cross-functional, multinational environments.

  • Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing environments and customer fabs is a plus.

  • Experience creating business cases, financial models, and customer proposals.

  • Ability to work with business systems and analytical tools such as Microsoft Office and forecasting platforms.

  • Ability to analyze and streamline business processes.

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently:

$140,625-210,938

Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.

The Company offers employees and their families, medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to participate in the Company's 401k plan. Employees will also receive eight (8) hours of vacation leave every month and (13) paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
