As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Role in Goleta, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine vehicle and/or foot patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post orders and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, access points, buildings, and perimeter zones to help identify unusual activity and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document security-related incidents, observations, and daily activities in required logs or reports.
• Support access control, traffic direction, and emergency notification procedures while working in changing indoor and outdoor conditions common to an industrial location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is required
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Must provide proof of US Citizenship
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
