Scrum Master

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Scrum Master for a contract position with a Major Financial Institution located in Farmers Branch, TX. This is an on-site 7+ month contract opportunity that can also be located in Pittsburgh, PA and Strongsville, OH.

This role involves supporting one to two Scrum Teams by fostering Agile values and practices. The ideal candidate will ensure team adherence to Agile principles, provide coaching on the Scrum framework, and work to optimize team velocity and quality while mitigating risk.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and facilitate Scrum ceremonies
• Identify improvement opportunities to optimize velocity and quality while mitigating risk
• Track and communicate overall team progress, providing visibility to stakeholders
• Serve as a filter to remove impediments to progress as identified by the team
• Protect the team from outside influences to ensure the team remains focused on priorities

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of experience as a Scrum Master
• Proven experience with Agile methodology and the Scrum framework
• Proficiency with Jira

Desired skills:

• Experience in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
• Background in Software Testing or Software Development environments
• Experience with Program Administration and Organizational Analysis

Pay range: $53.00-58.00 per hour
