DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will support the implementation of RHTP activities at the regional level to support alignment with program goals and regional needs. Your work will involve assisting with coordination of regional partners, facilitating communication, supporting the establishment and convening of Rural Care Collaboratives (RCCs), and monitoring program activities. RCCs are regionally led partnerships responsible for identifying regional priorities and advancing RHTP activities. You will play a key role in establishing regional coordination by supporting the organization and convening of stakeholders. As the RCCs become established, you will shift to a facilitation and monitoring role to support ongoing coordination and communication. Additionally, work will be assigned based on program initiatives, priorities, and regional needs, as well as reviewed through regular communication, progress updates, and evaluation of program outcomes. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours will range from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. The selected candidate may determine a work schedule.
- Travel: Frequent travel within the Southern Alleghenies Region (Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Fulton, Huntingdon, and Somerset counties) is required. The position requires consistent on-site engagement across the region and is not primarily office-based.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of policy analysis and planning experience; and a bachelor's degree in policy analysis and planning, public administration, or a closely related field; or
- A master's degree in policy analysis and planning, public administration, or a closely related field; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within three months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
Additional Requirements:
- You must possess a valid driver's license.
- You must reside in Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Fulton, Huntingdon, or Somerset County.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
- Strong experience in program coordination, grants management, or stakeholder facilitation
