As a Security Officer Armed Arrestee Transport in New Port Richey, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting information through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and/or credentials when required, and assist with controlling entry and exit in accordance with post orders and location protocols.
• Support security-related operations by maintaining a visible presence, communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel, and following Allied Universal procedures during routine and high-priority events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 2 or more years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
