We are looking for Versatile, curious, and energetic Software Engineers who embrace solving complex challenges on a global scale.As a Visa Software Engineer, you will be an integral part of a multi-functional development team inventing, designing, building, and testing software products that reach a truly global customer base. While building components of powerful payment technology, you will get to see your efforts shaping the digital future of monetary transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy enhancements and new initiatives across Visa's Corporate Finance Systems, including:
  • Oracle E Business Suite (R12) and Noetix Web Query (NWQ)
  • Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP
  • Oracle EPM Cloud (FCCS, ARCS, and related modules)
  • Provide hands on technical leadership across Oracle ERP and EPM platforms, translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.
  • Perform solution design activities including conceptual architectures, prototypes, and detailed technical implementation plans.
  • Develop custom solutions using SQL, PL/SQL, OAF, Java, scripting, and reporting tools in alignment with Oracle and Visa engineering standards.
  • Create and execute unit test cases and partner with QA teams to support full lifecycle testing across Oracle Fusion Cloud, EPM Cloud, and EBS environments.
  • Collaborate with project managers and production support teams to ensure on time delivery, production readiness, and smooth transition to support.
  • Maintain and support Oracle EBS R12, Oracle Fusion Cloud modules, Oracle EPM Cloud applications, and SAP Concur integrations.
  • Design, develop, and support financial and operational reporting solutions, including Noetix Web Query (NWQ) for Oracle E Business Suite R12.
  • Administer and maintain the NWQ application, including metadata refreshes, view generation, environment synchronization, and controlled promotion across DEV, TEST, and PROD.
  • Monitor and optimize NWQ report performance, addressing SQL efficiency, data volume, and execution timing-particularly during close cycles.
  • Evaluate and integrate third party and cloud native tools, ensuring alignment with security, scalability, and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Partner with Infrastructure and Engineering teams (Windows, UNIX, Network, Storage, Middleware) to design robust cloud and hybrid integration architectures.
  • Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation covering designs, integrations, configurations, customizations, and operational procedures.
  • Present and demonstrate technical solutions to engineering leads, architects, and management, ensuring alignment with business and technology strategies.
  • Follow SDLC standards, coding conventions, security controls, and change management processes.
  • Ensure compliance with Visa's security, audit, and regulatory requirements, including SOX relevant controls.
  • Provide technical mentorship and knowledge sharing to team members as needed.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, OR 3+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands on development experience with:
    • SQL, PL/SQL
    • Noetix Web Query (NWQ)
    • Oracle Workflow
    • BI Publisher
    • UNIX shell scripting
    • Oracle Application Framework (OAF)
    • Java, JavaScript, HTML, XML
  • Strong experience with Oracle ERP R12 or Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP modules.
  • Solid understanding of Oracle ERP application integration with NWQ application
  • Experience with enterprise application architecture, relational databases, integrations, middleware, and APIs.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based solution design and integration patterns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business partners and leadership.
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 88,000.00 to 136,900.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
