The Johns Hopkins Hospital's Nelson 8 is a 23-bed acute medical floor, with capacity for 10 patients requiring telemetry. Staff on the unit care for a mix of complex medical patients, including pulmonary, endocrine, GI, renal, cardiac, and neuro. On the unit, you will gain experience with continuous drips & IV titrations for antiarrhythmics, dopamine, nitroglycerin, heparin, and PCA pumps. The unit is very supportive of new staff.

Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (Days/Nights as needed) - do not apply if you cannot rotate

Minimum requirements:

• Associate degree in nursing from an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred.
• Active BLS via AHA, American Red Cross or Military Training Network at time of hire
• Active Maryland RN or Compact License at time of hire

Salary Range: Minimum 51.52/hour - Maximum 51.52/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
