As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Specialist in Berkeley Heights, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to support daily operations across the property while reflecting our agile, reliable, and innovative team culture with integrity and care.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related activities, and appropriate emergency response actions within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, policy concerns, and other security-related matters.
• Monitor entrances, common areas, and restricted spaces to help support authorized access, visitor direction, and adherence to location protocols.
• Assist with de-escalation, report writing, and routine security-related support duties while maintaining a professional presence and courteous interactions with the public.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
