What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a front desk location within a healthcare setting.
• Monitor visitor, patient, and staff access at the front desk, verify credentials as required, and communicate entry procedures and location guidelines in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site expectations.
• Answer questions, provide directions, and support a welcoming front desk presence while helping to deter unauthorized access and security-related concerns.
• Complete required logs, incident reports, and/or pass-down communications accurately while maintaining awareness of front desk activity and incoming concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Have supervisory experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Have 2+ years of service in a healthcare/medical-related field.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
