Inova Well Fitness is looking for a dedicated Receptionist to join the team. This is a part-time role with a regular Saturday shift from 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., plus additional as-needed shifts beginning at either 4:30 a.m. or 4:00 p.m.

Receptionist Job Responsibilities:[KS2]

The Receptionist is accountable for the smooth and efficient operation of the reception function by serving as the first point of contact for visitors and callers to the department or facility. Performs routine clerical tasks to facilitate completion of department work and provides clinical services in multiple modalities, according to imaging practice standards.

  • Greets visitors and notifies appropriate staff members; Provides directions to visitors to offices within facilities or to other Inova Health System facilities as needed.
  • Answers department telephones promptly while taking complete and accurate messages.
  • Responds to routine inquiries or refers visitors/callers to the appropriate staff members.
  • Maintains schedule for one or more conference rooms; Occasionally maintains menus and places food orders for meetings.
  • Distributes standard materials to visitors by mail or fax including applications, forms, brochures and/or other information about the department or organization; Receives, sorts and distributes mail, faxes and packages.
  • Prepares mailing labels and forms for overnight and delivery services; Periodically maintains mailing lists and logs.
  • Collates materials, prepares packets and processes large mailings as directed by department administrative staff.
  • Orders office supplies including supplies for copier and fax machines.

Receptionist Additional Requirements:

  • Work schedule: Saturday from 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., plus additional as-needed shifts beginning at either 4:30 a.m. or 4:00 p.m.
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: Relevant office or customer service experience required
  • Certification: CPR or BLS within 6 months of hire
