StoneTurn is seeking a qualified Consultant to join our Construction and Real Estate practice.

ROLE SUMMARY

In this position you will be responsible for the execution of client engagements within the Construction and Real Estate industry as it relates to advisory, investigation, litigation and compliance matters. You will add value to our team by having experience and technical expertise within the industry. This position requires you to be a person with superior organization, technical and communication (written and verbal) skills.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Demonstrated experience in construction delivery and management as an executional team member within a development, construction management, or general contracting company.
  • Foundational experience in construction management, project engineering, and capital program and project management concepts
  • Understanding of construction and project processes including but not limited to, feasibility and planning, budgeting, design, forecasting, procurement, contracting, forecasting, change, risk, and schedule management.
  • Overall knowledge of construction management methods, approaches, and generally accepted practices.
  • Ability to apply industry expertise to complex matters and experience reviewing, analyzing and summarizing client documents and analyses.
  • Create and develop client deliverables and prepare findings, presenting to senior management, Partners and external stakeholders
  • Accountable for multiple priorities and projects, delivery of timely preparation and quality client deliverables while communicating project and task status to internal team members
  • Integrate with other StoneTurn practice areas to deliver coordinated services
  • Participate in business development initiatives; researching and identifying opportunities to assist in expanding existing client base
  • Assist with the proposal process for capital projects and construction related matters, including the preparation of budget estimates
  • Demonstrate professionalism and foster a team-oriented environment through a positive and cooperative attitude and by maintaining the confidential and proprietary nature of client relationships and related work product
  • Mentor Consultants and Interns
  • Assist with engagement management administration, including billing and conflict checks as needed

QUALIFICATIONS / IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • 1-2+ years of experience of construction management, project engineering, project delivery or related fields within the construction industry
  • Flexibility with the travel requirements of client engagements
  • Excellent organizational, and verbal/written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to perform technical projects, manage team and client expectations
  • Excellent prioritization skills
  • Commitment to exemplary client service delivery
