*Job Title:* Cardiology Medical Assistant
*Workplace Type:* On-site *Location:* Burbank, CA *Category:* Medical Assistant Overview: We are hiring a* Medical Assistant* to support a *busy specialty medical center* seeing *120-200 patients daily* across multiple specialties. This role will support a *new physician starting in June*, with each provider having a dedicated MA. You'll play a critical role in both *front and back office patient care coordination* within a fast-paced clinical environment. Responsibilities: * Obtain and record patient medical histories, vitals, and test results * Room patients and prepare examination rooms for visits * Assist providers during clinical examinations and procedures * Perform patient intake and update medical charts in the EMR * Handle appointment scheduling, patient check-in and check-out * Complete insurance verification, referrals, and authorizations * Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records * Support daily administrative and operational clinic needs Must-Have Skills: * Medical Assistant experience (front and/or back office) * EMR/EHR proficiency * Patient care and patient intake * Appointment scheduling * Rooming patients and checking vitals * Insurance verification * Medical terminology Nice-To-Have Skills: * Ambulatory or specialty clinic experience * Patient education * Referrals and prior authorizations * Strong customer service experience Schedule: * *Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5:00 pm* Why Join Us: You'll be joining a *high-volume, collaborative medical center* where your work directly supports patient care and physician success.
