The Division of Pediatric Pathology at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and Children's Wisconsin (CW), seeks a board certified / board eligible Pediatric Pathology physician to join our expanding Division serving as Director of Pediatric Molecular Pathology. This position is located in Milwaukee, WI at the Children's Wisconsin hospital campus. We are comprised of nationally and internationally renowned, dedicated group of faculty and staff with a strong commitment to clinical care. Position Highlights: CW has committed to precision medicine as a multi-year strategic priority, including support for additional personnel, funding, and resources for the expansion of the molecular laboratory and broader implementation of genetic/genomic testing across multiple areas of patient care. Join a collaborative team of pediatric specialists, including seven pediatric pathologists, a hematopathologist, a neuropathologist, and two clinical PhDs who serve as directors of Microbiology/Virology, Immunology, Clinical Chemistry, and Biochemical Genetics. Enjoy exclusive membership and access to the MCW Mellowes Center for Genomic Sciences and Precision Medicine. Teach and mentor AP/CP residents and pediatric pathology & other pediatric specialty fellows. Schedule: Full-Time Salaried (Exempt) Department/Division Highlights: The Division of Pathology at Children's Wisconsin provides comprehensive subspecialized pediatric diagnostic services through CAP-accredited laboratories. Our teams perform advanced testing across chemistry, microbiology, molecular diagnostics, hematology, and histology-from metabolic and pharmacogenetic analyses to flow cytometry for leukemias and lymphomas, rapid thromboelastography, and expert muscle and nerve biopsy evaluation. Together, we perform over one million tests annually, supporting the highest level of pediatric care. Faculty also engage in academic excellence, training medical students, AP/CP residents, and fellows through an ACGME-accredited pediatric pathology fellowship, while leading key research resources, including the histology, imaging, and biobank cores of the Children's Research Institute. This environment enables faculty to strike a balance between impactful clinical practice, education, research, and innovation, thereby advancing pediatric health both locally and globally.
