We're hiring for a Paint/Blast role that takes pride in craftsmanship, consistency, and doing the job right the first time. This role is handson and fastpaced, supporting our production team by preparing, blasting, and finishing metal components-primarily carbon steel-with precision and care. When painting or blasting work is not required, you'll support other shop operations based on your skills and experience.

What You'll Do
  • Perform full surface prep including grinding, sanding, masking, and body filling
  • Apply undercoats and finish coats using a variety of sprayed and brushed coatings
  • Mix paints to proper viscosity and follow all Manufacturer Data Sheets
  • Adjust, operate, and maintain spray equipment to meet finish requirements
  • Conduct grit blasting using companyprovided protective gear and air helmet
  • Maintain paint inventory and ensure materials are properly stored and tracked
  • Schedule and manage workflow in the Paint Department to support productivity and quality
  • Keep equipment and work areas clean, organized, and safe
  • Operate cranes to move materials over 50 lbs; manually lift up to 50 lbs
  • Follow all company safety rules and use required PPE at all times
  • Support additional shop tasks as assigned
What You Bring
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of experience in industrial painting and/or blasting
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to highquality finishes with minimal rework
  • Ability to read and follow technical instructions and data sheets
  • Comfort working with respirators (note: fitted respirators require no beard)
  • Reliability, teamwork, and a willingness to jump in where needed
