Job Overview We are seeking a Data Entry Clerk to support loan servicing and loan operations within a banking environment. This role focuses on accurately entering, validating, and maintaining loan-related data across internal systems. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, process-driven, and comfortable working in a high-volume, compliance-focused setting. Key Responsibilities Loan Data Entry & Maintenance * Enter and update loan and line-of-credit information into bank systems * Process routine loan transactions such as: * Payment postings * Payoff processing * Autopay setup and changes * Address and basic account updates * Validate loan data by comparing system records to source documentation * Perform quality control checks to ensure data accuracy and completeness Documentation & Record Support * Prepare loan and line documentation for imaging and record retention * Track required loan documents and follow up on missing or outstanding items * Assist with title-related documentation tracking and duplicate document requests * Support Federal Reserve or internal loan pledging activities using established checklists Required Skills & Qualifications * Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data entry and validation * Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to follow detailed procedures and workflows * Basic analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion Work Environment * Professional banking or operations center * Standard business hours (Monday-Friday) Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Honolulu, HI.
