Responsibilities

Position Overview:

We're seeking an experienced Master Scheduler to join our team in Fullerton, CA. This position will manage and oversee the production of aerospace components and systems, focusing on efficient processes and waste reduction opportunities that enable high-rate production. This individual will coordinate with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain to ensure production schedules are supported.

Key Responsibilities:

' Oversee product transition from low-rate initial prototypes to high-rate production.

' Develop and manage production schedules to ensure on-time deliveries.

' Act as liaison between the engineering and manufacturing teams.

' Work closely with Planners to execute work orders and other transactions.

' Monitor material flow from receipt, through production, and out to shipping.

' Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure subcomponents are on-time to final assembly.

' Work with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that the product and processes meet customer requirements

' Route unresolved issues to the appropriate groups for resolution.

' Identify gaps and bottlenecks in material procurement and work closely with Supply Chain to ensure a continuous supply of materials.

' Support process flow improvements for increased efficiency and minimization of non-value-added time.

' Minimize gaps and bottlenecks in manufacturing resources, tooling, test equipment, and manufacturing equipment:

o Report production status and Key Performance Indicators to the management and customers.

o Propose and generate company processes that streamline transition from design to manufacturing.

Participate in project kickoffs where manufacturing is required.

The position includes competitive wages, with a targeted range of $90,000-100,000, and a comprehensive benefits package available day one of hire, including health insurance (medical, dental, vision), excellent 401k matching program, paid holidays and vacation. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering discipline preferably manufacturing or industrial
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in Production Engineering, new product introduction, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience in both prototype and production environments.
  • Strong understanding of customer requirements relating to quality and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Knowledge and experience operating in an ISO9001 quality environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to effectively supervise, lead, and direst other employees.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with New Production Introduction process.
  • Experience setting up new production lines.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification.
