Summary of position/daily activities:

Minimum 7 years serving as a System Oracle DBA with a Bachelor's Degree or 12+ years with and Oracle Database Certification (Oracle Certified Associate or Oracle Certified Professional).

Experience creating?shell?and SQL scripts for maintaining environment.???

Experience writing advanced PL/SQL in support of ETL
Experience performing database design activities
Proven success in performance optimization for OLTP and OLAP applications

Analytic ability to make forward thinking database architecture recommendations

Extensive implementation skills covering a wide range of Oracle database solutions

Experience with Oracle migration options.

Experience with configuring database security

Experience with advanced diagnostics in troubleshooting issues

Ability to work effectively in a strong team-oriented environment.

Ability to prioritize requests from multiple projects and support requirements.

Self-motivated; taking ownership of projects and issues, including follow through to closure and resolution

Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to details.

Strong focus on internal and external customer requirements

Basic qualifications/experience (the required qualifications which are critical to be considered for the position:

College Degree (BS, BA, or AAS) in Computer Science or Information Technology related field. Experience may be substituted

Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. for any employer

Active Secret security clearance

CompTIA Security+ Certification- must be able to achieve certification within 90 days of hire date

Oracle Certified Associate(OCA)

Desired skills/certifications (any additional skills desired but not required to be considered for the position):

Proficient in Data migration and replication tools and methodology

Experience working with GoldenGate

Experience working with Azure and/or cloud migrations

Experience working with advanced technologies to include: Real Application Clusters, Data Guard, Transparent Data Encryption, Oracle Exadata, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle Data Integrator

Hardening environments in compliance with DISA's Security Technical Implementation Guide

Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) is a plus

CompTIA Security+ is a plus
