Job Description:

Ryan Companies has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Design Intern in our Minneapolis office! As a Design Intern, you will engage with projects in the office, multi-family, healthcare, and industrial sectors. Architecture and Engineering are critical components of Ryan's platform for delivering integrated and creative real estate solutions.

The Design Intern will be working under direct supervision of a licensed professional to gain experience in multiple areas of their design discipline. The successful candidate will be willing to take specific directions on project and department activities and execute them in a professional manner.

During the internship, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Work on various phases of project design from concept through construction administration.
  • Gain experience in collaborating and participating in all phases of the project from concept design through construction administration.
  • Assist the project team with finish selections, product research, documentation and presentation deliverables.
  • Schedule appointments and meet with product representatives.
  • Take specific directions on project and department activities and execute in a professional manner

Job Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited program related to Interior Design/Architecture
  • 18 months or less from your anticipated graduation date
  • Basic knowledge of design material products
  • Pursuing Professional education (bachelor's or master's degree programs) in Interior Design.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with a diverse team.

Compensation:

The hourly rate is $17.97-$22.46 per hour. The base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills and abilities.
