Position Overview/Summary: The production manager will be involved with the planning, coordination and control of manufacturing, assembly and QC monitoring and shipping processes. The production manager will ensure goods and services are produced efficiently and that the correct amount is produced at the right cost and level of quality. This position will maintain and improve systems for achieving company goals for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Employee Morale. The position will also interact with other departments to achieve company financial goals while operating within a set budget. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Responsible for daily operation of the manufacturing and packing process and the quality of output. Review lead times, place orders in the scheduler and release order to production Coordinates the efforts with other departments, as required, to ensure that the programs are conducted in accordance with the requirements of sales orders and budgets. Ensure efficient and productive manufacturing processes that meet customer requirements and related QMS requirements. Advises management of the schedule status and problems (or potential problems) on a regular basis. Anticipates potential schedule or priority delays and initiates plans for alternative actions. Organize and oversee packaging material inventory. Responsible for supervision and training of production Associate. Direction and scheduling of manufacturing maintenance activities. Implementation of Hazard communication and PPE/Safety programs. Set standards for areas of responsibility regarding yearly measurable metrics.
Plan, organize, and oversee production schedules to meet company goals. Ensure optimal use of resources, including labor, materials, and machinery. Supervise and lead production staff, providing training and performance feedback. Maintain quality control standards and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Develop and implement process improvements for efficiency and cost reduction. Coordinate with other departments, including sourcing, purchasing, maintenance, EHS, and logistics. Monitor production data and generate reports on key performance indicators. Ensure workplace safety and adherence to health regulations. Manage production costs and work within budget constraints. Handle troubleshooting and resolve production-related issues promptly.

Coordinate support from outside groups. Approve employee performance appraisals. Approve final new employee selection. Monthly production planning Suggest headcount adjustments (up / down) as demand fluctuates. Shift to shift coordination. Report / track daily production results Approve and control overtime. Ensure production schedules are posted on all communication boards. Cost reduction activities Process trials (changes in process, tooling, or equipment) Determine line capacity in terms of men-hours. Determine headcount requirements based on installed capacity and actual demand. Analysis charts and other key indicators for root cause analysis, trends, and correction Enforce 5S philosophy and other tools.

Required Experienceand Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field (Desirable). Minimum 5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing management role. Experience with production planning software and ERP systems is a plus. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is advantageous. Valid US Driver License
Physical Demands:
Manufacturing or industrial setting with exposure to machinery and production processes. May require standing for long periods and occasional lifting of materials. You must wear personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety boots, hard hats, and hearing protection where the company requires. Willingness and ability to use PPE. Willingness and ability to use proper ladder safety and proper methods
