Position Summary:


Coordinates daily warehouse inbound/outbound operations and works with Warehouse Associates during receiving, put away, picking, loading. Controls warehouse inventory by coordinating movement of inbound and stocked products throughout the facility. Focuses on standards to ensure effectiveness and efficiency within all safety and compliance standards.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Leads Warehouse Associates with direction from management and/or paperwork provided from system reporting. Assists other operation teams as needed.
  • Motivates and leads Warehouse Associate teams to promote a good working environment.
  • Provides functional guidance to team members.
  • Performs receiving, de-pooling, and stock transfer processes.
  • Performs scanning, picking, transfer, and loading processes.
  • Ensures proper loading and unloading of trailers/containers.
  • Ensures all outbound loads/orders are processed and correctly fulfilled each day.
  • Report any damaged items, transit discrepancies, or low cubed trailers to supervisor.
  • Maintains accurate and legible paperwork.
  • Monitors outbound loads by overseeing Warehouse Associates.
  • Stores product by using designated storage areas, adjusting storage areas according to inventory levels and shipping requirements, updating location database. Ensures products are safely stored in warehouse storage bins while keeping storage location accuracy between physical inventory and computer records.
  • Processes UPS parcel returns to disposition customer orders and inventory.
  • Prepares/verifies product inventory reports by comparing logs and reports, adjusting entries.
  • Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records, maintaining databases.
  • Monitors inventory by completing cycle counts as required.
  • May perform other duties/special or non-routine assignments as instructed.
  • Assists with helping maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facility following company guidelines and policies.
  • Must work overtime as needed for any unexpected deadlines.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum three (3) years' warehouse or manufacturing experience
  • Must be able to lift seventy (70) pounds. Requires bending, lifting, standing, reaching, and climbing
  • Must have prior experience operating forklifts, platform lifts, and clamp trucks. Requires in-depth knowledge of work performed in order to operate more complex machinery and provide guidance or supervision of others.
  • Must have working knowledge of MS Office, especially Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word, prior experience with AS/400 (JD Edwards) operating system and UPS Worldship is highly desired.
  • Requires in-depth knowledge of work performed in order to operate more complex machinery and provide guidance or supervision of others (team leaders or 1st line supervisors).
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and organizational skills required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
