Job Summary:



Mercury Systems is seeking the best and brightest talent to help us bring cutting-edge technology to mission-critical aerospace and defense applications, advancing innovation where it matters most. We are looking for a senior warehouse professional with progressive experience across receiving, inventory management, staging, and kitting in an AS9100-regulated manufacturing environment. Demonstrates initiative in driving teams toward best-in-class material handling practices, ensuring accurate, traceable material flow from dock through production issue. Flexible and dependable, with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities, work extended hours when required, and solve operational challenges while maintaining a positive, team-focused attitude.


Job Responsibilities:



  • Execute and oversee warehouse operations across multiple scopes including receiving, inspection support, inventory control, staging, kitting, and production issuance
  • Ensure compliance with AS9100 requirements for material identification, traceability, handling, storage, and preservation
  • Lead by example in applying best-in-class practices for pulling, picking, kitting, and material organization
  • Drive inventory accuracy through disciplined system transactions, lot control, and timely discrepancy resolution
  • Issue materials accurately in ERP systems and resolve transactional or system errors impacting production
  • Process DMRs, returns, and rework material back into inventory in coordination with Quality requirements
  • Flex into Inventory team oversight as needed to stabilize execution, reinforce standard work, and support schedule commitments
  • Proactively identify and resolve material flow or process issues, escalating risks appropriately while maintaining execution momentum
  • Demonstrate flexibility to work overtime or adjust schedules to support production demands and business priorities
  • Maintain a positive, solution-oriented attitude while navigating changing requirements and operational challenges


Required Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Typically requires 6+ years of hands-on experience in warehouse operations, material handling, or inventory control within a manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or technology environment
  • Working knowledge of ERP or inventory management systems for receiving, issuing, and inventory transactions - Oracle preferred
  • Proven ability to execute accurate material transactions and maintain inventory integrity in a fast-paced production environment
  • Forklift or powered industrial truck certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
  • Highly reliable, adaptable, and comfortable working across shifting priorities
  • Positive attitude with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Commitment to quality, accuracy, and compliant execution
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with production, quality, and supply chain partners
  • Willingness to support team success through schedule flexibility, including overtime, as business needs require


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Post-secondary education or formal coursework is a plus but not required for candidates with strong, relevant hands-on experience
  • Demonstrated experience working across multiple warehouse functions, such as receiving, staging, kitting, and inventory control
  • Experience resolving material discrepancies, transactional errors, and flow issues that impact production schedules
  • Understanding of material identification, traceability, and lot control requirements (AS9100 or equivalent)
  • Ability to follow and reinforce standard work instructions, quality procedures, and handling requirements
  • Strong problem-solving skills applied directly on the warehouse floor to keep materials moving compliantly

Pay Grade Range
Fulltime Equivalent Job Grade Salary Range for this position
* $44,000.00 - $88,000.00 annual salary for in-office or hybrid employees in FL, GA, IN, AZ, AL, MD or TX, and all remote employees
* $49,300.00 - $98,600.00 annual salary for in-office or hybrid employees in VA, CA, NH or MA
* $51,900.00 - $103,800.00 annual salary for in-office or hybrid employees in NJ

* the role and related responsibilities;

* internal equity with others employed by Mercury in similar roles;
