ABOUT THE ROLE

Novotx has acquired the intellectual property of SamIS related to Capital Budgeting and Planning, with a focus on Asset and Pavement Condition Assessment. This role will support the continued investment and integration of SamIS capabilities into the ElementsXS6 (EXS6) Asset Management platform.

The position will serve as a subject matter expert, providing industry-level insight while coordinating business interviews and discussions with customers and industry experts. Key findings will be synthesized and communicated back to the EXS6 Product Team to inform product development.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Provide subject matter expertise based on extensive real-world experience to support development of an advanced, AI-enabled asset management solution
  • Lead and contribute to scenario planning and forecasting capabilities, ensuring accurate projections based on variables such as asset condition, time, and budget constraints
  • Guide development of asset and pavement management functionality, including pavement condition indexing, replacement vs. service decisions, budget allocation, and depreciation modeling across asset types
  • Support forecasting and budgeting features that incorporate both user-defined inputs and AI-generated criteria to optimize long-term budget utilization
  • Conduct and support QA/QC testing for the Capital Planning and Budgeting module
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support broader Asset Management initiatives as needed
  • Facilitate and synthesize insights from customer and industry expert engagements


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Minimum of 20 years of experience in government, public works, and/or utilities
  • Deep expertise in capital planning, asset management, and/or pavement condition assessment
  • Proven ability to translate real-world operational needs into scalable product solutions
  • Strong communication skills with experience engaging stakeholders and cross-functional teams


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Experience working with asset management software platforms
  • Familiarity with AI-driven or data-informed decision-making tools
  • Experience supporting product development or technical teams
  • Background in coordinating stakeholder interviews and synthesizing insights into actionable recommendations


Travel



  • Travel as needed to support customer engagements, workshops, and industry discussions

COMPENSATION AND WELL-BEING
The annual base salary range for this full-time position is$120,000-$130,00 (less applicable taxes). The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, training, and experience. In addition to an annual base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus target. This is a discretionary bonus awarded based on company and individual goal achievement.
