Key Responsibilities
Document Production & Management

  • Operate reprographic equipment including largeformat printers, scanners, copiers, and plotters.
  • Print, scan, bind, and reproduce construction drawings, blueprints, and project documents according to specifications.
  • Ensure all documents are accurate, complete, and meet quality standards before distribution.
  • Manage digital files, including naming conventions, file conversions (PDF, TIFF, DWG, etc.), and organization within document control systems.


Equipment Operation & Maintenance

  • Perform routine maintenance on reprographics equipment to ensure consistent performance.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate service or repairs with vendors.
  • Maintain inventory of paper, toner, ink, and other supplies.


Customer Service & Communication

  • Work closely with project managers, estimators, engineers, and field teams to fulfill printing and reprographic requests.
  • Provide timelines for print jobs and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Assist employees with document formatting, print settings, and file preparation needs.


Quality Control

  • Review drawings for legibility, scale, and formatting accuracy.
  • Verify that reproduction matches original files or specifications.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of sensitive project documents.


Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with largeformat printers, plotters, and scanning equipment (e.g., Oce, KIP, HP DesignJet).
  • Strong computer skills, including Adobe Acrobat, PDF editing tools, and basic CAD file handling.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple print requests at once.
  • Organizational skills for managing both digital and physical documents.
  • Ability to lift and move print materials or large document sets.
  • Prior experience in construction, architecture, engineering, or print shop environment preferred.
