That's where you come in. We're looking for a Sr Data Analyst Consultant to partner with cross-functional teams and help uncover meaningful business insights across a variety of industries. In this role, you'll blend analytical thinking, business curiosity, and strong communication skills to deliver impactful reporting, dashboarding, and ad-hoc analysis that drives smarter decisions, while also helping shape internal data strategies and best practices.

This is a hybrid role, requiring at least two days per week on site at Reingold's headquarters in Alexandria, VA.

Here's the work you'll do:

Essential Functions:
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects involving research and discovery, program evaluation (especially training programs), and data analysis and reporting.
  • Provide direct support to clients for creating data-driven narratives that prove impact.
  • Design and develop evidence-based strategies and plans for complex data projects and present them to internal and client audiences.
  • Collaborate closely with technical developers to translate business requirements into client-ready solutions (dashboards, apps, automations).
  • Analyze and report on a wide range of quantitative and qualitative data, including creating graphs, writing key takeaways, and translating findings into recommendations.
  • Identify and address opportunities to increase project team efficiency and impact through technology solutions, especially artificial intelligence (AI).
  • Uphold industry standards for data quality, reporting integrity, and project management.
  • Support project leaders with staffing, strategy, and prioritization decisions.

This role is a good fit for someone with these qualifications, experience and skills:

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a research-oriented social science.
  • At least five years of experience, including in account management, consulting, or similar customer service roles.
  • Experience with research methodologies, especially survey design, focus groups.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including nested formulas, pivot tables, and dual-axis graphs.
  • Experience building dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI or Tableau.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Word, especially formatting graphs and tables.
  • Experience coordinating teams and reviewing others' work for accuracy and strength.
  • Active Secret U.S. government clearance or ability to obtain one. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Power Platform is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SQL, DAX, or similar coding languages.
  • Experience working with government clients or with health data.
  • Experience with task tracking tools, such as Monday.com, Jira, or Asana.
  • Credentials or coursework related to project management (e.g., PMP).
  • An interest in education, health care, or military or veteran communities.
  • Experience with web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics / GA4, Adobe Analytics) or data visualization tools like Google Looker Studio.
  • Experience with designing and implementing digital measurement strategies, defining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track web traffic, conversion rates, and marketing program success.
  • Experience analyzing digital marketing metrics, web user behavior to inform business strategies.
  • Critical thinking skills, with a mindset for both the big picture and the small details.
  • Strong organizational skills and a reputation for being detail oriented.
  • Exceptional writing and speaking skills.
  • Innate desire for continual performance improvement.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete work with minimal supervision.
  • Aptitude and passion for learning new technologies.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and a positive attitude.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position will not have direct reports but will be expected to mentor junior teammates and to lead by example and influence.

Work environment and physical requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds
