What You'll Do As a Journeyman Electrician, you'll play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality electrical work while supporting the development of the next generation of electricians. Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and light commercial settings Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams Ensure all work meets NEC and Oklahoma code requirements Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently Supervise and mentor apprentices in the field Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites Collaborate with other trades and supervisors to keep projects on track Min USD $28.00/Hr. Max USD $35.00/Hr. Minimum Education None Minimum Years of Experience 2-4 Specific Qualifications What You Bring We're looking for dependable professionals who take pride in their craft and work well on a team. Active Oklahoma Journeyman Electrician License (required) 4+ years of hands-on electrical experience Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to communicate clearly on job sites Experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment Preferred Qualifications OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification Experience in residential, multifamily, or mixed-use construction Leadership experience guiding apprentices Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Physical & Work Environment Work on active residential construction sites, both indoors and outdoors Comfortable working at heights (ladders, lifts, scaffolding) Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly Frequent standing, bending, climbing, and overhead work Exposure to varying weather conditions and fast-paced job environments Why Join IES Residential?
