Title- Production/Inventory Coordinator A Location- San Antonio, TX Duration- 6 Months Job description * Routes materials to prescribed storage location in accordance with prescribed storage procedures. * Conducts inventory of stored materials and reports deterioration/ damage. * Removes and issues material from storage and prepares it for shipment. * Able to perform assigned duties while wearing required safety equipment. * Able to perform assigned duties on all shifts without encumbrances due to weather or physical location and conditions. * May order parts, tools, materials, and equipment as required to perform assigned duties. * Responsible for complying with all rules and regulations concerning health and safety, tool control, FOD, contracts, facilities, housekeeping, inventory control and other pertinent coverage. * Reviews and analyzes production scheduling requirements to determine products, materials, and actions necessary to ensure the availability of sufficient materials and hardware to meet schedules. * Identifies, investigates, analyzes and determines best solutions and coordinates the resolution of problems to ensure adherence to quality standards, schedules and budgets for material costs. * At times may perform in-depth analysis of complex problems related to material requirement, inventories, schedules and configuration control. * Performs other duties as directed by supervision and management for the benefit of the company, program, and employee(s). BASIC. QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): * 4+ years of experience with warehouse inventory including parts accuracy and accountability. * Requires Computer experience and competency * Currently have or have the ability to obtain a forklift license. Ability to perform the following physical requirements: * The candidate must be able to ascend and descend vertical work ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift loads of approximately 35 pounds. * Exposure to noise, working on elevated platforms * Use personal protective gear for face, eyes, ears, hand, and arms as required. * Pass visual acuity and color perception tests * Read, write, and comprehend the English language * Handle, use, and dispose of hazardous material * Obtain & maintain training certifications as required to support assignment responsibilities * Occasional (1 to 3 hrs) finger manipulation * On occasion, a 2-person lift may be necessary for weights greater than 50 lbs * Frequent reaching overhead (3 to 6 hrs) * Frequent walking on flat surfaces * Frequent standing flat or uneven surfaces * Frequent balancing on a ladder, steps, or uneven surfaces * Occasional climbing on 3-12 ft ladders or stands * Rotation of head/neck, sitting, crawling, squatting, bend/stoop, lying down, and operate foot controls for an extended period of time * Occasional contact with metals * Frequent exposure to noise Regular and predictable attendance is a requirement of this request. | |
