Job Summary

The Senior Specialist, Giving Back develops and implements team member engagement and experience programs. Analyzes team member feedback and identifies opportunities for improving workplace culture. Ensures alignment of team member experience initiatives with organizational goals. Oversees one or more key areas of Giving Back (for example, Southwire CARES Project GIFT or POWER Fund, 12 for Life, etc.).

Key Responsibilities
  • Assesses the effectiveness of current company and nonprofit CSR programs and initiatives, recommending improvements to enhance community impact and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Assists in the management of high-profile corporate partnerships with nonprofit organizations, ensuring long-term collaboration and mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Coaches less experienced team members and team members on best practices in CSR and community engagement, building capacity across the organization.
  • Conducts more complex analyses of CSR program performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Constructs strategic plans for large-scale community outreach programs, aligning them with both local and global corporate initiatives.
  • Develops more complex policies and frameworks for CSR initiatives, ensuring they meet compliance, ethical standards, and social impact goals.
  • Directs individuals to execute volunteer programs and events, providing leadership and ensuring successful implementation.
  • Implements processes to ensure the transparency and accountability of charitable donations, community investments, and company nonprofits.
  • Forecasts future CSR trends and their potential impact on the organization, advising leadership on long-term strategies for social responsibility.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
