The Department of Russian & Slavic Studies is seeking a short-term summer session teaching position from 6/8/26- 7/9/26 for RSSS 150B1. The Summer Session Instructor position is part-time, non-tenure eligible, non-benefits eligible and will provide instruction in the subject area of Russian & Slavic culture. | Duties & Responsibilities |
- Teach RSSS 150 B1 (East European
Cinema). - Hold office hours.
- Plan class lectures and
assignments. - Grade papers and exams.
- Other duties as assigned.

| Minimum Qualifications |
- Master's
degree in Russian & Slavic Studies or related field of study. - Experience
teaching college-level courses.
|
| Preferred Qualifications |
- Demonstrated excellence of college (online or face-to-face) teaching experience in Russian & Slavic Studies.
- Digital Learning Platform experience (Vista, Cengage, Pearson, etc.).
- Learning Management System experience (Bright Space/D2L, Canvas, Blackboard, etc.).
- Completion of a Quality Matters workshop (online program).
- History of professional development activities for online teaching and/or course design.

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University's campuses.Thesereports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims.
