General Summary: The Market Sales Manager achieves sales goals by leading a team of Market Sales and Direct Sales professionals focused on developing new business, as well as retaining and developing additional business with existing customers. This role is responsible for the accountability and professional development of each member of the Market Sales team, while also collaborating with others on the Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to facilitate new programs, campaigns, and offerings. The ideal candidate will be experienced with direct sales, outbound call campaigns, familiar with call center metrics and operations, and skilled at managing a sales staff. Must be energetic, innovative and have entrepreneurial instincts that will foster the continuing growth of the company. Essential Job Functions
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field required, or the equivalent in training and experience. Three to Five years of experience leading a successful Market Sales team preferably within the telecommunications or IT services industries. Experience with Client Relationship Management (CRM) applications is a plus.
