Environmental Specialist I

ReNuke Services is seeking an Environmental Specialist I for our client"s site in Huntersville, NC

DESCRIPTION:

Full time, onsite
Schedule: M-F 7:30 AM - 4 PM

Collects, prepares, and / or analyzes scientific / environmental samples or data to support environmental / engineering programs, studies and analyses. Receives and / or collects routine or special scientific / environmental samples to be analyzed. Operates, calibrates, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs various pieces of equipment. Maintains warehouse stock items and manages inventory through Duke software systems.

90% of time:
Maintain warehouse inventory for the scientific labs located in Building 7405. Perform yearly inventories of stock items. Use Duke software to track and maintain appropriate levels of laboratory supplies.

10% of time:
Support section and departmental administrative and development functions including special projects and assignments, employee training, emergency preparedness, and quality assurance programs.
