Employment Type: Temp To Hire (6 Months)

Compensation: $27.00-$35.00
Schedule: 40 Hours/Week
About the Opportunity:
  • We are seeking a full-time Assembly, Integration & Test Technician.
  • Responsibilities will include working in the following areas, based on experience and interest in growing: assembling spacecraft hardware, soldering and PCB inspections, harness builds, component and assembly testing, and following spacecraft through environmental testing campaigns.

What You'll Do:
  • Following step-by-step guidelines for building electrical and/or mechanical assemblies and documenting the process as things are built
  • Operate torque wrenches and similar tools to meet product specifications
  • Assemble and solder components onto PCBs
  • Install project-specific sensors such as thermistors and accelerometers
  • Troubleshooting and diagnostic process knowledge is highly desired
  • Work with engineers to troubleshoot hardware problems
  • Build harnesses and wire connectors
  • Support Propulsion Module and Spacecraft Testing
  • Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of experience with soldering, crimping, and harness build.
  • 1+ years of experience with electronics testing
  • 1+ years of experience with board repair.
What Sets You Apart:
  • 2+ years of experience working in an Aerospace Manufacturing Setting.
  • Experience with Visio, Excel, and CAD Drawing software.
  • Experience with Fabrication and Test.
  • Experience with non-conformance resolution.
  • NASA Certifications for soldering, crimping & harnesses.
  • Experience with harness fabrication.
  • Experience with vacuum chambers.
  • Good time-management skills.
  • Be able to obtain IPC certifications for wire harnessing and soldering assemblies (if necessary)
  • Ability to read and follow drawings and written direction
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
Additional Information:
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Some overtime may be needed
