Description Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor (Solar Panel Manufacturing) Location: Mesa, AZ Employment Type: Direct Placement Industry: Manufacturing Compensation: 75-90k, depending on experience/qualifications Schedule: Day shift, M-F, 40 hours per week About the Opportunity: A Solar Panel Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a maintenance team that supports a 24/7 manufacturing environment safely and efficiently. The role requires strong organizational, planning, follow-up, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with others. The supervisor evaluates and monitors manufacturing processes, resolves downtime constraints, and ensures proper inventory levels of materials and parts. What You'll Do: * Overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing equipment * Developing and implementing a preventive maintenance program to ensure equipment runs smoothly and efficiently * Inspecting and evaluating the functionality of production machines and systems to check for operational issues * Coordinating with external vendors and service providers for repairs and maintenance * Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations * Use of the PLC is utilized in troubleshooting, repair and calibration of process controls. * Utilize data acquisition systems, measurement and test instrumentation including PC systems, PLC, CMM, etc. * Tracking maintenance work and documenting the repair process * Training and supervising maintenance staff, and managing their performance * Assisting in budget preparation and managing expenses related to maintenance operations * Ordering and maintaining inventory of spare parts and equipment * Recommending strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs Job Requirements What You'll Bring: Minimum 3 years of experience as a senior technician or engineer in the manufacturing industry High school diploma or GED What Sets You Apart: Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications and schematics Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage and lead teams Advanced troubleshooting skills Understanding of safety practices and policies Bachelor's degree in business administration, Facility Management, Engineering or relevant field Additional Information: Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen After you apply, you may receive a call or message from our AI Talent Scout about this role or other opportunities that match your skills and preferences.
