Warehouse CDL Operator

Bongards Creameries is looking for a person with a valid CDL license to work in our Whey Warehouse. The duties will include loading and unloading trucks, driving forklift, and moving trailers around the plant. The hours will be 5 AM until 2 PM. The ideal candidate will be detail orientated and organized. Wage will start at $28.59 per hour.

Job Description:

• Sort product as needed for shipping to customers
• Interact professionally with drivers.
• Must have a class A CDL to move trailers.
• Load trucks with finished product for shipment
• Help with loading in the Cheese warehouse as needed.
• Interact with shipping coordinator to ensure accurate shipment.
• Act as final inspector of all outgoing product.
• Keep whey warehouse and storage areas clean and organized
• Complete required paperwork, maintain accurate records.
• Inspect, receive and organize incoming supplies, rotating materials FIFO.
• Understand the plant's commitment to safety, quality and to customer's expectations.
• Have responsibility to adhere to quality system requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• All employees are responsible for food safety and reporting incidents to someone in authority.

Pay and Schedule:

• Pay will start at $28.59 per hour
• Hours will be 5 AM to 2 PM Monday through Friday

Physical Job Description:

• Must be able to frequently lift and carry 50#
• Must be able to occasionally lift 50# bags and 40# blocks
• Exposure changes in temperature

Qualifications:

• Have a valid Class A CDL
