Job Title: Food Service Associate I Location: Columbia, SC Duration: 4 months with possible extension Job Description Depending on department needs, this role may include responsibilities such as cashier, prep cook, food server, dishwasher/pot washer, catering delivery, restocking, and any other duties as assigned by management. Key Responsibilities Food Preparation (50%) Prepares food and performs a variety of routine tasks in food production and service areas Uses approved procedures in food preparation and production areas Operates food production and serving equipment Maintains minimal waste and production errors Assists with training as assigned Restocking (30%) Restocks food supplies Rotates and labels food items and containers Cleaning & Sanitation (10%) Performs cleaning tasks and ensures sanitation of equipment Follows preventative measures to reduce or minimize slip or fall accidents Equipment Reporting (10%) Reports equipment malfunctions to management Required Skills and Abilities: Ability to perform in variety of food services areas. Good organizational, judgment skills. Customer service skills. Basic business math proficiency. Oral and written communication skills.
